2. Time-Based Verification Codes:

   • Credential managers can now fill time-based verification codes, enhancing the security and convenience of multi-factor authentication.

3. Autofill Enhancements:

   • Credential managers can fill usernames, passwords, or one-time codes into any text field.
   • Users can select up to three apps to use with Autofill, providing more flexibility and convenience.

4. New Keys for Info.plist:

   • Several new keys are available for the info.plist and matching APIs to support these new features. Developers can refer to the authentication services documentation for more details.

5. Passwords App Updates:

   • The new Passwords app in macOS Sequoia, iOS 18, and visionOS 2 highlights apps and websites that have adopted phishing-resistant sign-in methods.
   • The app also includes a section for verification codes, making it easy to look up and copy codes, similar to a dedicated authenticator app.
   • The security section lists saved passwords that are weak, reused, or have appeared in a data leak, and provides a change password button that can open the change password webpage if the well-known URL is adopted.
