   • The editorial team will consider these nominations for featuring across various platforms and regions. This is a great way to get your app noticed and potentially featured as "App of the Day".

2. Promote Your App Feature:

   • If your app gets featured, you will receive a push notification. You can then generate and share special marketing assets directly from the App Store Connect app to celebrate the occasion on social media.

Broadcast Updates to Your Live Activities

Apple has also enhanced the capabilities for live activities with new broadcast updates:

1. Creating Channels for Broadcast Push Notifications:

   • Developers can create channels for their apps to send broadcast push notifications. This can be done using the push notifications console, which now supports broadcast push notifications.
   • The console allows you to configure the environment and message storage policy for the channel. Once the channel is created, its unique channel ID can be used by the app to subscribe to updates and by the server to send updates.

2. Sending Broadcast Push Notifications:

   • To send a broadcast push notification, developers can use the push notifications console to create a new notification. They need to provide the channel ID, name the notification, set its priority, and add the content for the update.
   • The notification can include scores, updates, and timestamps, and can be sent immediately to all subscribers.
