- Side by Side Template: Ideal for windowed apps and media viewing activities where participants are seated in front of your app.
- Conversational Template: Keeps the focus on participants while keeping your app close by.
- Surround Template: Useful when your app is a volume and you want participants to be placed in a circle around it.

Custom Templates:
- Minimize Transitions: Frequent changes in templates or roles can be disorienting. Use transitions sparingly and provide visual context clues to help participants orient themselves.
- Seat Arrangement: Ensure there is a seat for every spatial Persona and enough space between seats (at least 1 meter apart) to avoid crowding and maintain visibility of each other's spatial Personas.
- Intentional Sequencing: Check your template with every possible combination of spatial Personas to ensure it fills correctly.
