What’s new in iPadOS 18

   • Gesture Recognizers: UI Touch and UI hover gesture recognizers now provide barrel roll angle, enhancing the expressiveness of drawing tools.

2. Document Launch Experience:

   • Redesigned launch experience for document-based apps, enabling them to showcase their distinctive identity with full control over launch views and support for template document creation.

3. Tab Bars and Sidebar:

   • Visual updates to tab bars with a new compact look, reducing empty space and bringing app content to the forefront.
   • Combined tab and sidebar experience, allowing for quick navigation and access to deeper sections of the app.

4. Device Management:

   • Multi-app mode for iPad, including secondary apps like notepads, spreadsheets, assistive apps, coding apps, and a new calculator app.
   • New controls for locking and hiding apps using Face ID, Touch ID, or a passcode.

5. Privacy Enhancements:

   • Improved transparency and control over access to local network, Bluetooth, and contacts.
   • New flow for contacts access permission, providing more control over which contacts are shared.
