Is there a way to return to the previous bottom tab display on iPadOS18?

In iPadOS 18, the tab bar has been redesigned to sit at the top of the app, closer to other navigation controls, and it can now optionally be displayed as a sidebar. This new design aims to make navigation more efficient and to bring more of the app's content to the forefront. When the sidebar is hidden, it animates back into the tab bar, bringing focus back to the main content.
If you want to return to the previous bottom tab display, it seems that iPadOS 18 does not provide a direct way to revert to the old bottom tab bar layout. Instead, the new design integrates the tab bar with the top navigation bar and allows for a sidebar representation. This change is intended to provide a more consistent and efficient navigation experience across devices.
