This year, Apple introduced several new SF Symbols in SF Symbols 6. Here are some of the highlights:
- Automotive Symbols: New symbols related to automotive, such as batteries, convertibles, and temperature indicators.
- Activity Figures: Symbols representing a diverse set of activities.
- Localized Symbols: New symbols including scripts like Greek, Cyrillic, and several Indic numeral systems.
- Progress Indicators and Haptics: New symbols for progress indicators and haptics.
- Home and Widget Related Symbols: Symbols related to home and widgets.
- Various Objects: A wide range of new objects.
In total, there are over 800 new symbols added to the SF Symbols library, making it a dynamic collection with over 6000 unique symbols. These symbols come in various scales, weights, and rendering modes, and include captivating animation presets designed to enhance app interfaces.
