In iOS 26, Apple Pay introduces several new features and enhancements. During the Keynote, it was highlighted that Apple Pay continues to be a secure and private way to pay, with new convenient options for using rewards and installments both online and in-person. Additionally, the Wallet app has been improved to better track Apple Pay orders, using Apple Intelligence to summarize order tracking details from emails and notifications.
In the session titled What’s new in Apple Pay, Apple introduced a dynamic Apple Pay Button that adapts to show the best card for a purchase, enhancing the checkout experience. This session also covered enhancements to merchant tokens and pre-authorized payments, allowing customers to view and manage their pre-authorized payments in one place.
