Live Activities on macOS can reuse views that have already been implemented for iOS. Specifically, Live Activities from a paired iPhone will appear on macOS without requiring any code changes. This is similar to how iPhone widgets work on macOS, allowing for a seamless transition of views across platforms. The existing views, such as those used in the Dynamic Island on iPhone, can be leveraged for macOS, ensuring consistency and reducing the need for creating brand new views.
