At WWDC 2025, Apple introduced significant upgrades to boarding passes in the Wallet app. These upgrades include a new dynamic and configurable design that integrates with Apple's flight service to automatically update for gate changes or delays. The new boarding passes feature live activities that provide easy access to key flight information and can be shared via messages, allowing friends and family to track the flight on their own devices. Additionally, the upgraded boarding passes have deeper system integrations with maps for airport directions and Find My for tracking luggage. There is also a new Airline Services and Upgrade section that provides passengers with more information about their trip and actions they can take throughout their journey.
