At WWDC, Apple introduced several enhancements specifically designed for education. These include:

Easy Student Sign-In: Teachers signed into an iPad with their managed Apple account can quickly sign students into their devices. This feature is available with iPadOS 17.4 and macOS 14.4.

Unmanaged Nearby Classes in Classroom: Teachers can use Classroom with any nearby iPad and Mac devices, regardless of account status. This feature is now available in access management in Apple School Manager.

Schoolwork 3.0: This update introduces new assessment and scoring workflows. Teachers can send assessments by scanning or importing documents, including Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Google Suite documents, and PDFs. They can also score documents and analyze student performance per question.

Assessment Mode: Developers can configure their apps to disable certain hardware and software features at launch to create a secure testing environment.
