  1. Media Support: Safari 18.4 introduced support for WebM and the Media Recorder API, allowing for real-time podcast and video recording in web apps. This includes creating WebM files using the Opus audio codec and either VP8 or VP9 for video.   4. Declarative Web Push: A new session on Declarative Web Push was introduced, which allows for more efficient and transparent push notifications without needing a service worker.

  5. Safari Management: Safari management has evolved with a new declarative configuration to manage bookmarks and set default homepages, consolidating Safari settings into Declarative Device Management.
