Icon Composer is a new app bundled with Xcode 26, introduced at WWDC 2025. It is designed to help developers and designers create beautifully designed, sophisticated, multilayered icons that work across multiple Apple platforms and software versions. Icon Composer allows users to import vector content, organize and annotate layers for multiple rendering modes, add effects like blurring and translucency, and preview icons in various tinting modes. It generates a single source artifact that can be imported into Xcode and can also export high-resolution versions of the icon for marketing and communication needs.
