This year, PhotoKit has introduced support for spatial media, allowing developers to filter and fetch spatial photos and videos from a user's photo library. You can specify spatial media in the matching parameter to filter the user's library to show only spatial photos and videos. Additionally, PhotoKit allows programmatic fetching of all spatial assets by setting spatial media as the PH asset media subtype when constructing a fetch predicate. This update is part of the session Build compelling spatial photo and video experiences.
